Yes, but the colonoscopy without sedation will be very uncomfortable and not as safe for you. Usually the procedure is performed under conscious sedation. You are awake for the procedure but don't remember going through it. The usual sedative used during colonoscopies (propofol) wears off very quickly and you can resume breastfeeding after.
