Cold hands: One potential cause of sudden and extremely cold hands can be due to raynaud's phenomenon, which is when the arteries into the hands constrict. Cold exposure can trigger it, even by something as seemingly insignificant as taking an item out of a refrigerator or freezer. Smoking and emotional stress can also cause it to happen. It can be a sign of another underlying disease. See your doctor.
