A member asked:

I had 2 tiny pes 5 months ago. idiopathic. 30 yrs old. no symptoms accidentally found. should i be a lifer on coumadin (warfarin)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: Unprovoked/idiopathic clotting with pulmonary embolism is a significant problem, and it would be best to see your doctor. If there is a family history of clotting problem, then you should be tested for thrombophilia, and if positive, then long term anticoagulation is best.
