Psychologist: Those are the credentials for a psychologist. There are two ways to have a terminal degree in psychology. One is a phd, the other a psychd. The psychd route is shorter but typically more practical.

Psy.D.: It is a doctor of psychology degree and is equivalent to the pH.D. The difference is that the psy.D. Is more practitioner oriented, while the pH.D. Is more research-based.
