Unlikely: It's unlikely that that was your period, though Mirena (levonorgestrel) doesn't always prevent ovulation, so it's possible. More likely bleeding was just side effect of removal. It's difficult to say when your ovulation will be if you didn't have normal periods on mirena (levonorgestrel). You will ovulate before you have a period, so if pregnancy is a concern, be aware.

Ovulate with Mirena (levonorgestrel): Mirena (levonorgestrel) iuds provide highly effective contraception via several mechanisms of action, but not by consistently preventing ovulation. Once Mirena (levonorgestrel) is removed, you are essentially at risk for pregnancy immediately. Bleeding may have been your period or just break through bleeding.
