Can i use chloramphenicol eye drops just before going to sleep? if not, why not?

There are better: Drops than chloramphenicol. Why do you use an antibiotic eye drop just at night? The reason you use these determines the drop to use. If it is to soothe the eyes then an over the counter lubricating eye drop , like systane ultra or gel, would work.
