Saliva?: Most drug screens are performed on fresh urine- not saliva.

About 24 hours.: Hydrocodone, the active ingredient in both Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) and vicodin, has a relatively short half life, about 4 hours. This means that regardless of the amount of drug in your system, half of it will be eliminated in the period of the half-life. To be safe, one should allow at least four to five half-lives to pass after ingestion of the drug. 4 to 5 x 4 hours = 16-20 hours. www.opiatecure.com.
