Not sure: Black dots in period could be small blood clots but without looking at them it is hard to know. I recommend you show them to your doctor.

Why is my period black the whole way through with lots of clots?
I have been passing tissue while on my period. What causes this and should I be concerned? Usually about 1-2 in tissue with lots on tiny pieces, too.
