During menses your uterus is shedding tissue,debris and blood causing clots as well as bleeding. It appears that your cycle, amount of bleeding and amount of clots are not abnormal.

Agree with Dr. Colantino. Small blood clots are not abnormal, but may reflect heavier than usual bleeding. You may take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia from blood loss. Wish you good health!
