MS or other things: Sounds like your symptoms affect both hands? Not as common to have ms symptoms bilaterally, at the same time. Did you start a new medication? Any chance your electrolytes could be off? Call your neurologist to report the symptoms because they should be checked out.

Yes, possible: However, many MS patients have co-morbidities, and worthwhile to explore superimposed carpal tunnel syndrome. Might want to find out if lesions in cervical spinal cord. You do not list medications, but several are available and very helpful, indeed.
