Multiple sclerosis: Multiple sclerosis is an inflammatory disease of the brain and spinal cord. In addition to MRI studies, cerebrospinal fluid from a lumbar puncture as well as visual and sensory nerve studies can help make the diagnosis. The tremors can certainly be a side effect of the steroid methylprednisolone.

2nd opinion: Your history and exam details are incomplete. It seems that you already see a neurologist. You have not written the reason for prescription of prednisone. Is the diagnosis of ms is confirmed or presumptive? If diagnosis is uncertain and even if not it will be better to have a 2nd. Opinion from an experienced neurologist.
