Contradiction: Well, you said two contradictory things: "caused by virus" and "on antibiotics" fevers fluctuate. Their presence is a sign of a healthy immune system. Your body knows that "germs" can't survive at higher temps so the body elevates its temp to help kill the germs. Give your child weightbased acetaminophen, cool bath or cloth if needed, and him hydrated. Your bases are covered.
