A member asked:

Can a pregnant woman use folic acid & mecobalamin tablets? what is the use of these tablets?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Folic acid and cobalamin (vit b12) are both safe in pregnancy. We recommend folic acid, especially, in women with epilepsy to decrease the chance of birth defects from their meds. It is otherwise not usualy 'required' in pregnancy. B12 may improve a person's energy level. Both are safe. Congratulations!
