To get proper result: Creatinine clearance testing procedure and what measured is fully answered in prior question. The serum creatinine must be drawn right after the 24 hour urine collection to calculate how much creatinine is in serum and compare it to the total creatinine in the urine collection, to get an accurate measurement of renal function.
