Need more details: Tell us the full story for how long the cancer has been diagnosed. Is it biopsy confirmed, treated so far and how treated? Has the tumor spread to the pancreas? You said the cancer has "touched" the liver..What do you mean?

Stay hopeful: Dear mattea, i'm sorry to say that pancreatic cancer is very difficult to treat especially if it has traveled to another organ. There is a type of pancreatic cancer, called net, that is much better. Patients with net can live many years with it and there are effective treatments. If not, when it is in the liver, there are effective treatments but patients on average live less than a year.
