If you have: Difficulty opening your mouth (trismus) or swallowing, you might have an abscess that might need surgical drainage or steroid medicine. Call your doctor who gave you the antibiotics for specific recommendations.

Why do you say it is: a fungus? You might also have a viral or bacterial infection. Treatments are determined by what is believed to be the cause.
