HMG vs HCG: Hmg is human menopausal gonadotropin which is different from HCG (the pregnancy hormone) which is human chorionic gonadotropin. There should not be any cross reactivity between the two and the pregnancy test should be negative if your partner is negative...Unless she's not, in which case, congratulations!
