Bewildering Breast: Augmentation comes with the risk of rupture and extrusion or leakage of the implant contents. In most cases the body will absorb these substances depending on the content (saline vs. Silicone). In the case of silicone and other materials an inflammatory reaction can occur and will irritate the underlying muscle, connective tissue and nerves. If the arm is affected seek evaluation of the issue.
