More info needed: Knowing your iron level, per cent saturation, and ferritin would be helpful. Also your hemoglobin pattern and mcv--size of red cells. Never take iron with milk or milk products, as the calcium decreases iron absorption, malabsorption of iron may be associated with bowel problems--discuss with your doctor. Best wishes!
