Doctors don’t guess or should not guess. You are doing the right thing- colonoscopy. My suspicion is that that you have food poisoning. Good luck.

Colonoscopy should settle the issue of cancer. For constipation - You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods.
