Hemorrhoid or yeast: Hemorrhoids can cause an itching sensation. Yeast infections are also common in that area and may present with itching. An antifungal cream could help this. Not as common, but pinworm infections can cause itching also. If hemorrhoid creams and anti fungal creams do not help the symptoms, a doctor can make the diagnosis by an exam.
