Question about omphalocele? is it genetic?

Possibly: Sometimes omphalocele is associated with a chromosomal abnormality. It can also be associated with a gene mutation. But it can also occur for no apparent reason.

Sometimes: There are some syndromes which are genetic in which omphalocele is a component. These tend to be rare and not usually hereditary or passed down from generation to generation.
