No need to worry: Basophils are a specific type of white blood cells, and your level is just very slightly above normal. Typically when the basophil level is more elevated, this can serve as evidence that there is some kind inflammation in the body or rare allergic reaction occurring. But without elevated WBC levels and a very small increase in the basophil count, i wouldn't worry too much at this point.

See below...: A mild increase in basophils is a reactive and very non-specific finding that may be associated with a whole variety of clinical situations including infections and inflammatory states. I doubt that a mild increase in the absolute basophil count of a little over 200 (normal up to 100) is significant, especially in the context of a normal WBC count.
