Topamax (topiramate): Topamax (topiramate) is a newer anticonvulsant that prescribed for a variety of pain disorders including the prophylaxis of migraine headache. The recommended starting dose is 15-25 at night increasing very slowly to a dose two times a day. As a prophylactic medication you should take it daily as prescribed. Rec.: talk to yous physician for more information.
