woman admitted at 35wks gestation with abdominal pains and vaginal bleeding. bp is 110mmhg, why is the bleeding not from the placenta? and immediate rx

Cervicitis: The bleeding maybe from the cervix or vagina and not the placenta. Vaginal exam and a fetal nonstress test followed by an ultrasound if no answer.
