String pieces in stool, eat a lot of fibre, stool test negative-strings hard to break apart, worried. could this be worms? haven't been at risk?

Stool changes: I would recommend that you get evaluated by your primary physician and then gastroenterologist. The stool will need to be tested for any infection but likely a GI specialist will recommend endoscopy to see if internally anything is affecting the stool hope that helps.
