Maybe/not: PW's will come out to lay eggs around your anus when you have been still for a long time, often at night. See through tape applied across this area at night can show eggs or sometimes worms. You itch because of the glue like ooze the eggs are deposited into. It's not the only reason people itch there. Food allergies, yeast or germ infection, etc. can also cause it.
