Treat conservatively: 1. Diarrhea without fever, suggests self-limiting nn specific gastroenteritis. Cont. Conservative treatment with a brat diet, slowly advancing to regular diet over the next couple of days. If diarrhea recurs, or fever appears, would suggest office visit and examination, with further testing, including stool cultures and chemistries.
