Flu vs gastroenterit: May have been a gastroenteritis with the diarrhea and vomiting ( though with flu you can vomit due to headaches , fever but diarrhea is unusual) . Also flu lasts several days whereas gastroenteritis can be 24 to 48 hours Has the diarrhea resolved? Glad you are better , f/u/ w/ doc
