Possibly: If you do not have reflux of one of the deeper veins (you would need an ultrasound to know) than sclerotherapy (injections) or sometimes a stab phlebectomy will do well - it depends on the size of the veins.

Could be.: Injection ("sclerotherapy") of varicose veins can work well. Your doctor should check to make sure your underlying veins are normal first. Also, if the veins are very large (say, as big as your finger), you may actually heal faster if the veins are just removed ("phlebectomy"), but your doctor can answer that question better by examining you.

Can be: Recurrent varicose veins can be from problems in the main vein or in side branches. This is determined by ultrasound . IF the main vein is diseased then ablation is indicated. IF branch veins are diseases then injection (sclerotherapy) or removal ( stab phlebectomy) can be helpful.
