Is it typical for iugr babies to have feeding issues... 6 mth has never taken more than 3ozs at a time he seems to get full easy. what could be issue?

Sounds normal: Yes, iugr babies can fave feeding issues, but it is probably not contributing to problems 6 months from delivery. If your child is growing appropriately by weight, length, and head circumference, than there is nothing to worry about. If not, you should consult your pediatrician. If growing well, just be grateful that your child has a healthy "full button" and will avoid over-eating.

Growth curve: Your pediatrician will follow the growth curve and assess how your baby feeds. I usually recommend that you bring the formula/bottle with you and have the pediatrician observe a feeding. Babies have small stomachs and they need time for the stomach to empty. Taking short breaks and burping the baby may also help in the management.
