More techniques: The key to resolving the hemorrhoid is to keep your bms soft and regular. Topical creams, esp if they contain some steroid, can help. But also try to do some warm soaks (sitz bath) with epsom salt water, increase the fiber in your diet with metamucil or equivalent to soften bm's, avoid straining. Don't linger on the toilet. Dont use cheap (rough) toilet paper. These things together can help.
