Sprained ankle: If you are still having swelling and pain two months after your injury, then it may be more than a sprain. Were you seen by a doctor for your injury? If you were then you should get a follow up exam. If you have not seen a doctor then it would be advisable to see an orthopedic doctor that works with athletes.

Ankle injury: You might have under treated the intial injury and now have some ankle instability, which is not uncommon. These injuries generally feel better in a week but not completely healed. The person then thinks it's ok to be active and it re-aggravates the injury. I recommend you avoid activity for now, return to immobilization and see a podiatrist post haste.
