Family dr. dx'd tiny bartholin's cyst. he's unconcerned. smaller than pea. looks like fatty cyst. no pain, etc. age 63 & read dangers of cancer. very scared! rare? slow growing & aggressive? thoughts?

Bartholin cyst: I would not worry if you want a second opinion see your gyn and maybe they will excise it but usually not a cancer.

See a GYN: Bartholin's gland cysts are very rare when you are postmenopausal. I recommend you see a gynecologist to make sure that's actually what it is. Because if it is a bartholin's gland it should be removed so they can send it for pathology and make sure it isn't something like cancer. (cancer is rare, but any bartholin's gland in someone your age should be sent to rule out malignant processes).
