Gingivitis : Bleeding gums can be a sign that you are at risk for, or already have, gum disease. The bacteria, along with mucus and other particles, constantly form a sticky, colorless toxic “plaque” on teeth causing the gums to become inflamed and to easily bleed. This is a serious problem, which should be checked by a dentist. It is a painless condition, but can induce serious complications.

See Dentist: Sounds like at least gingivitis, or gum tissue inflammation. See your Dentist for a check-up and cleaning and detailed instructions in home care. I always recommend an electric toothbrush. Two excellent ones : Sonicare and Oral B. Expect to invest $65 - 75 for a good one. Shop around for best deal. Good Luck.
