Positive: It doesn't quite make sense that the line "faded". I would consider it positive until you get confirmation otherwise. Ask for a blood test if it is unclear at your next doctor's visit.

Asked and Answered: Your doctor is right. It is indeterminate and there is no reason to keep asking us to guess differently. Your doctor is managing this right by waiting one week and repeating the test unless you bleed in the meantime and do not need a test in one week.
