Variables.: Usually a pregnancy test isn't taken until you miss your period. So, if the pregnancy test was done prior to that it might not show as positive. If your bleeding is consistent with your normal period, than it is not likely that you are pregnant. If you have just missed your period, have only light spotting (pink, brown, or small amt of red) you might want to repeat hpt.
