Exam/tests: Clay colored stool can be a sign of liver issues and change in your bowel movements can be a sign of intestinal issues. Call your physician and get a complete exam and workup.

Could be worrisome.: Clay colored stool might be due to bleeding. However if stool color becomes normal tomorrow you do not need to do anything. If not, check stool for occult blood.
