A member asked:

Got diagnosed with strep today and was told i am a carrier. how am i carrier when this is only the second time i have ever had it?

Different problem: A carrier is someone who always has some strep that live in their body that isn't causing a problem. They are just "hanging out" so to speak. Only having had strep infection 2 times doesn't have anything to do with being a carrier.
