What is the question: I am sorry that i never heard Celexa or Effexor (venlafaxine) being used for hot flashes but it may have been used for mood instability , irritability or depression. A good diet high in protein and low in carbohydrates and fat may help with weight loss along with aerobic exercise. Topamax may help with the mood swings and it also seems to help with weight loss.
