New dentures: It is impossible to accurately answer these types of questions, especially over the internet and not being able to personally examine you. Gagging usually decreases over time but there is no specific time frame and some can never truly get used to dentures. My best advice is to discuss with your own dentist or consult a prosthodontist and consider implant retained fixed prosthesis.

Dental implants: may be an option for people who have a strong gag reflex, experience difficulty getting used to dentures. Ask your dentist for more information.
