Bad cramps: The pain medicines that would help the most are Ibuprofen and naproxen. Acetaminophen will not be helpful, nor will Aspirin usually. A better approach would be to try birth control pills. These lessen your bleeding and decrease the chemicals causing your pain. You may have a condition called endometriosis. Check with a gynecologist to see.

Needs Evaluation: Consisting of a pelvic exam, possible pelvic ultrasound, and blood tests. Your history is important as the time when this problem began is important. Also, reproductive history may be relevant such as use of birth control pills and prior pregnancy. Eventually, you may need laparoscopy to take a look in your pelvis to see what is going on.
