Anemia: Anemia is a condition where you do not have enough red blood cells. I am assuming your doctor did some tests to figure out why you are not producing these cells? If you have some form of bleeding (menstrual or otherwise) you may be losing them. If not, it is probably due to poor diet, low intake of iron rich foods such as meats, spinach, beans, etc. Follow closely with your doctor.

Low blood: "not producing enough blood cells.", is not very specific and you should definitely ask your care provider to expand on that. That said, they probably meant that you have a mild anemia. This is very common in young women especially if they have heavy periods, and the best treatment is a healthy diet with lots of green leafy vegetables or if you don't like veggies then take a multivitamin daily.

RBC, WBC, Plt, etc?: What type of "blood cells" are you not producing enough of -- red blood cells (rbcs), white blood cells (wbcs) or platelets. If anemia, then additional questions about the complete blood count, peripheral blood smear and others tests could help narrow down the possibilities.
