Good question: It depends on the test sensitivity. The half life of Klonopin (clonazepam) varies but typically half is gone in 12 to 16 hous so you may be out of the woods. 4 mg is a huge dose by the way. People who are taking this medication for anxiety or essential tremor typically take 0.5 to 1 mg every 12 hours. Don't do that anymore. Please. Share your concerns with the doctor who wrote you that rx !
