Sciatic nerve: Tingling from the hip down to the toes is related to your sciatic nerve or the nerve roots in your lower back until proven other wise. Spinal nerve compression, piriformis syndrome, or other sciatic nerve compression are possibilities. Rarely, another nerve could be involved, but start with the above and work backward if nothing found.
