Variable: Everyone handles caffeine differently, some people can drink caffeine and go to sleep promptly, other people are kept awake for hours. You will need to experiment and determine what works best for you.

See below: Half life of caffeine is about 5 hours. So avoid caffeine a few hours before bed, at least. Some people who have trouble sleeping, may be affected even after 12 pm. Keep caffeine consumption to a minimum to optimize your sleep quality at night. Hope that helps!
