See his doc: Although, benign irritation of foreskin is very common in uncircumcised males, i would take him in to have his penis looked at to make sure there is nothing serious going on. Usually, irritation occurs in older boys, but can potentially be present in any uncircumcised male. I'd take him in.

M.D. visit: There is a risk of infection, and I agree that a follow up visit with your pediatrician is indicated. Some diaper cream may help to soothe the area.
