Foster care/personal: Kids in foster care often feel unwanted and unloved even though many are in fantastic families who care deeply for them. That rejection and/or abandonment feeling from parental separation is difficult to overcome. On the other hand, some kids in foster care thrive if out of abusive situations where they can finally see and experience love and caring from adults in their lives.
