Under Study: Phage therapy is in phase 1 and 2 trials and in use in non-human applications. It is possible that it may be available in the future, but the two major hurdles that i see would be: 1) it is hard to patent living organisms, so it would be hard for companies to make money and 2) most uses require a combination of bacteriophage and the fda may have issues with that. Even so, cure rates are 50%.
