Can you tell me how to make my voice come back quickly?

Mum's the word: Best treatment is rest. Do not talk, do not answer the phone, do not sing. Gargling with salt water might help, as might lozenges. Mum's the word

No talking at all: will rest the vocal cords and reduce swelling and inflammation and help you get your voice back quicker,

No: The great majority of voice disorders have a cause. Voice rest and fluids will help. But you need to see an ENT doctor and get a specific diagnosis and treatment. Voice disorders usually resolve spontaneously, especially if they are viral in origin, but a specific diagnosis would help.
